Older adults have many and complex health and movement complications due to their age. However, systematic training seems to have a huge impact of their life, health and the quality of their life. Thus, nowadays systematic training is considered as of major importance for these people. In this lecture it will be discussed the physiological background, consideration and limitation of older adults, the physiological mechanism and function that a trainer has to aimed during a training session, and a step by step description about the methodology that have to be followed during the design of a successful training program for older participants
