Description: During this theoretical session we will discuss methods associated with the effective development of strength & power. Specifically, methods include the effective use of velocity based training, accommodating resistance training, clusters, and various other methods associated with effectively stimulating strength & power. Additional concepts that will be included center on programming for pre-season versus in-season in a team sport environment. All concepts will also be generalized, where appropriate, to use within the general population. Those attending will walk away with a cohesive approach to programming and managing a strength & power programming theme.
